A smaller fixed-prize alternative to rolling jackpots
Thunderball is a National Lottery draw game with a deliberately simple format. One line costs £1. Choose five different main numbers from 1 to 39 and one separate Thunderball from 1 to 14, or use a Lucky Dip.
Unlike Lotto or EuroMillions, Thunderball does not have a jackpot that grows after an unwon draw. Its published prize table is fixed, with nine ways to win from £3 for matching only the Thunderball up to £500,000 for matching all five main numbers plus the Thunderball.
Draws take place four evenings each week. Tuesday and Friday are currently scheduled for 8:00pm, while Wednesday and Saturday are scheduled for 8:15pm. The results page is the better place to follow the newest completed draw.
