Do scratchcards have better odds than Lotto or EuroMillions?

Shorter odds do not automatically mean a “better” lottery
Odds answer a probability question, not a value question. A 1-in-8-million chance of £500,000 and a 1-in-292-million chance of a billion-dollar-scale jackpot are different products with different trade-offs.
Likewise, overall odds can be dominated by small prizes.
