The Lott closes Weekday Windfall entries at 7:30pm AEST every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The countdowns above are to the published entry close — not a claimed exact ball-draw second. The draw is conducted after entries close, and most results are generally available by 9:00pm AEST.

Why there are two sets of times

The Lott jurisdictions

Weekday Windfall

7:30pm AEST

The Lott publishes the Weekday Windfall entry close in Australian Eastern Standard Time on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Its help centre states that most game results are generally available by 9:00pm AEST.

Western Australia

Millionaire Medley

6:00pm AWST

Lotterywest uses the Millionaire Medley name in WA. Entries close at 6:00pm AWST every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with draw video/results available to watch by 7:30pm.

Important: these countdowns deliberately count to the official sales close. Neither operator publishes an exact guaranteed second at which the balls will be drawn, so presenting a countdown labelled as the exact physical draw would be misleading.

Weekday Windfall times across Australia

The Lott states its closing time as AEST throughout the year. That is a fixed UTC+10 reference, even when some eastern states are observing daylight saving. WA uses AWST, which is UTC+8 year-round.

ReferencePublished closeUTC anchorWhat changes?
The Lott7:30pm AEST09:30 UTCThe AEST reference itself does not move with daylight saving.
Queensland7:30pm local time09:30 UTCQueensland stays on AEST all year.
NSW / ACT / VIC / TAS7:30pm AEST reference09:30 UTCDuring AEDT, the local clock reads one hour later than AEST.
Western Australia6:00pm AWST10:00 UTCWA does not observe daylight saving.

The countdown cards use these fixed UTC anchors, so they continue to work through Australian and overseas daylight-saving changes. The “your local time” line is calculated by the visitor’s browser for the actual draw date.

Entry close, draw and result time are not the same thing

The sales close is the deadline for buying into that draw. The draw follows after entries have closed, while the published result can appear later once the official result has been processed.

For The Lott, Weekday Windfall closes at 7:30pm AEST and most results are generally available by 9:00pm AEST. Lotterywest closes Millionaire Medley at 6:00pm AWST and says draw results are available to watch by 7:30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

If you are checking shortly after the close, use the Weekday Windfall results page and wait for the latest draw to show as confirmed.
