The key answer

What is Super 66?

Super 66 is a Saturday six-digit exact-order lottery game. One digit is drawn from each of six separate 0–9 barrels, creating a sequence anywhere from 000000 to 999999.

Order matters completely. A ticket showing 123456 does not match 654321, and repeated digits are perfectly valid because every position is drawn independently from its own ten-digit barrel.

Division 1 requires all six positions to match exactly. Lower divisions work from the left or right end of the sequence: five consecutive digits for Division 2, four for Division 3, three for Division 4 and two for Division 5.

Two operator cut-offs

What time does Super 66 close on Saturday?

The draw is national, but the sales deadline is not identical across every operator.

The Lott7:30pm AEST Saturday

The Lott says Super 66 sales close at 7:30pm AEST and the game is drawn shortly after the Saturday Lotto draw.

Lotterywest WA6:00pm AWST Saturday

Lotterywest lists a 6:00pm WA close. Its Saturday draw videos are normally available at about 8:00pm AWST.

ImportantDo not convert one operator’s deadline into the other

7:30pm AEST and 6:00pm AWST are different absolute times. Use the deadline belonging to the operator issuing your ticket.

Super 66 history

February 1986

The Australian Lotto Bloc introduces Super 66

South Australia’s official lotteries history records Super 66 launching in February 1986 as a $1 add-on to Saturday X Lotto. That makes it one of the longest-running games still sitting alongside Australia’s major Saturday lottery.

Today

The core six-digit identity remains

The modern game still uses six separate digit positions, exact-order Division 1 matching, five prize divisions and a Saturday draw. Its unusual format remains distinct from every 6-from-45 or 7-from-47 lotto game around it.

Official validation matters

Use MLL to understand the sequence — use the operator to validate the ticket

Unlike a normal number-generator page, MLL does not encourage you to “pick” a favourite six-digit Super 66 sequence because standard Super 66 entries are randomly generated by the operator. For results, current jackpot and ticket validation, use the operator that issued the entry.

Quick answers

Super 66 FAQs

Can the same digit appear more than once in Super 66?

Yes. Each of the six positions comes from a separate barrel containing digits 0–9, so repeated values are completely valid.

Is 000000 a valid Super 66 number?

Yes. The possible result space runs from 000000 through 999999, giving exactly one million possible six-digit sequences. Every individual sequence has the same Division 1 probability.

Can I choose my own Super 66 digits?

The current authorised rules specify randomly generated standard entries and no Pick Entry. The Lott describes QuickPick as the way Super 66 numbers are generated for a player.

What are the odds of winning Super 66 Division 1?

One standard game has a 1 in 1,000,000 chance of matching all six winning digits in exact order.

How do lower Super 66 divisions work?

Division 2 matches five consecutive winning digits from either the left or right end, Division 3 matches four, Division 4 matches three and Division 5 matches two.

Is Super 66 available in NSW or the ACT?

No. The Lott's current official game-odds guidance states that Super 66 is available across Australia except New South Wales and the ACT.
