Lotto Strike is an NSW and ACT add-on to Weekday Windfall or Saturday Lotto. You choose four numbers from 1 to 45, but the challenge is not simply whether those four numbers appear somewhere in the draw.
The winning Lotto Strike sequence is the first four winning balls drawn in the linked Lotto draw. To win Strike 4 / Division 1, your four selected numbers must occupy those four positions in exactly the same order.
That means 13–11–39–33 and 33–39–11–13 are completely different Lotto Strike entries even though they contain the same four numbers.

The authorised rules divide Lotto Strike into four levels according to how many of the four selected numbers match the winning Lotto Strike numbers in their correct positions.
Minimum Division 1 prize guarantee $100,000. If there is no winner, the jackpot continues.
The current rules allocate 10% of the Lotto Strike prize pool to this division.
The current rules allocate 45% of the prize pool to Strike 2, subject to the game’s redistribution rules.
The authorised rules specify one free Standard Automatic Entry for a Strike 1 prize.

Random Lotto Strike four-number generator
Generate four different numbers from 1–45. Unlike an ordinary Lotto generator, the numbers are deliberately not sorted because their order is part of the Lotto Strike entry.
Every valid ordered four-number standard entry has the same Strike 4 probability before the draw.
A Boxed entry takes four chosen numbers and creates all 24 possible orderings (4 × 3 × 2 × 1). That means if those same four numbers are the first four Lotto balls in any order, one of the 24 Strike combinations has the exact sequence. The Lott describes a Boxed entry as 24 combinations of the four selected numbers.

There are 45 × 44 × 43 × 42 possible ordered four-number sequences from four different balls drawn without replacement.
The Lott’s responsible-play material publishes overall Lotto Strike prize odds of approximately 1 in 11 for one standard game.
When is Lotto Strike drawn?
Lotto Strike follows the linked Lotto draw rather than having an independent set of balls.
Entries close 7:30pm AEST. The first four Lotto balls form the Lotto Strike winning sequence.
The same 7:30pm AEST close applies, with the Strike result taken from the first four balls drawn.
Friday became an eligible Lotto Strike night when Weekday Windfall expanded the weekday game.
Lotto Strike is also available with the Saturday Lotto draw, again closing at 7:30pm AEST.
Who can play Lotto Strike and how long do you have to claim?
The Lott states Lotto Strike is available only in New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory.
You must add Lotto Strike to an eligible Weekday Windfall or Saturday Lotto ticket.
The Lott’s current claim guidance gives NSW and ACT lottery prizes six years from the draw date. Major wins should still be started promptly.

Lotto Strike launches in New South Wales
NSW Lotteries’ historical records show Lotto Strike was introduced in 1995. Contemporary NSW Parliament records described the same core idea still used today: choose the first four Lotto numbers in the order drawn, with a minimum $100,000 first division prize.
A two-game QuickPick wins $2 million
The Lott reported a Campbelltown woman as the sole Division 1 winner in Lotto Strike Draw 5864. Her winning Strike sequence was 13, 11, 39, 33 and the jackpot had reached $2 million — a useful real-world illustration of how far the $100,000 minimum can grow during a rollover run.
Do not take a numerically sorted Saturday Lotto or Weekday Windfall result and assume the first four displayed values are the Lotto Strike result. Lotto Strike depends on the actual order the balls were drawn. The Lott’s result/ticket checker is the final validation source.
