What is Cash 3?
Cash 3 is Lotterywest’s Western Australian daily three-digit fixed-odds game. Instead of competing for a shared jackpot pool, the payout is determined by the play type and stake printed on the ticket.
The result is a three-digit sequence from 000 to 999. For an Exact Order win, all three positions must match. Any Order pays when the same digits appear in one of the covered arrangements, which is why a three-way entry and six-way entry have different odds and payouts.
Both Ways combines Exact Order and Any Order coverage. Because the precise cost and payout depend on the ticket configuration, MLL keeps the published Exact/Any payout table separate rather than guessing the split on a Both Ways ticket.
Cash 3 play types, prizes and odds
Lotterywest currently publishes these approximate odds and fixed prizes for one standard Cash 3 game.
All three digits must match in the same positions. The cleanest high-prize, low-probability Cash 3 play.
Used when two digits are the same, such as 223. The three distinct orders are 223, 232 and 322.
Used when all three digits differ, such as 123. Six different orders can produce an Any Order win.
Combines the two play styles. Always use the stake and configuration printed on the actual ticket when checking the payout.
| Play type | Example | Official odds | $0.50 game | $1.00 game |
