SA Keno does not have one nightly draw to count down to. Each result has its own draw number and timestamp, so the safest way to check is by the exact draw shown on the ticket.
What is SA Keno?
SA Keno is the South Australian lottery Keno game sold through SA Lotteries/The Lott. Twenty numbers are randomly drawn from a field of 80 every few minutes.
The number of selections you play is called your Spot. A Spot 5 entry contains five selected numbers; Spot 8 contains eight; Spot 10 contains ten. The prize then depends on the Spot, how many of those numbers are among the 20 drawn, and the amount played per game.
Keno Single is the basic 1–10 number game. Keno Combo builds multiple combinations from selected numbers, while Keno Coin Toss is a separate prediction based on how the 20 drawn numbers fall across the 1–40 and 41–80 halves of the Keno grid.

What different hit counts pay
Not every winning Spot requires a perfect match. Larger Spots can pay lower fixed prizes for partial hits.

What is Keno Coin Toss?
Keno Coin Toss is not about matching your own number set. It predicts which half of the 1–80 grid contains most of the 20 drawn numbers.

Buying, checking and claiming SA Keno
The Lott requires players to be at least 18 to purchase lottery products or receive prizes.
This page covers South Australia’s Keno product. It should not be mixed with venue Keno or similarly named games in other jurisdictions.
The Lott treats SA Keno Spot 9 and 10 prizes as major prizes requiring the formal major-prize claim route.
SA lottery, Instant Scratch-Its and Keno prizes should be collected within 12 months before the late-claim process and administration charge apply.

SA Lotteries’ official 2004–05 annual report says Keno had been offered since 1990, with players choosing Spots 1–10 and trying to match 20 numbers drawn from 80.
More than 5.27 million winning Keno entries
The Lott reported more than 5.27 million Keno wins across South Australia in FY24 worth over $123.67 million. That included 47 Spot 8, 9 and 10 winners worth more than $6.26 million, with Spot 10 won three times.

The current game still revolves around Spots 1–10, rapid repeat draws and the rolling Spot 10 jackpot, while newer options such as Keno Coin Toss and Combo add different ways to use the same result stream.
Fast draws make precise result checking more important
A bare list of 20 Keno numbers is not enough when draws repeat throughout the day. Match the draw identifier and ticket details first. MLL’s checker explains the prize pattern; the physical SA Keno ticket must still be checked through the approved in-store route.

The normal South Australian Keno claim period is 12 months after the draw date. A late-claim process applies after that period.
