Pick five white balls and one red Powerball
A standard U.S. Powerball play costs $2. Choose five different white-ball numbers from 1 to 69, then choose one red Powerball from 1 to 26. You can choose the numbers yourself or use a Quick Pick. See the complete Powerball how-to-play guide.
Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59pm ET from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee. Sales cut-off times are controlled by the selling lottery and can vary by jurisdiction.
The game is sold in 45 U.S. states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Powerball also expanded to the United Kingdom in July 2026, but the U.S. ticket price, number matrix, odds and U.S. prize structure did not change.
