How to check a UK Lotto result
Start with the draw date on your ticket, then compare your six numbers with Round 1 and Round 2 for that date. Each round has six main winning numbers and its own Bonus Ball.
One Lotto line is checked against both rounds
You still choose six numbers from 1 to 59. Since the Lotto change in June 2026, those same six numbers are checked against two separate rounds. Round 2 is not a duplicate result and you do not need a second set of numbers.
Check the Bonus Ball only with the correct round
Round 1 and Round 2 each have their own Bonus Ball. If you are checking a possible win, make sure you use the Bonus Ball from the same round as the main numbers you matched.
Older Lotto results have a 180-day claim window
National Lottery draw-game prizes normally need to be claimed within 180 days of the draw. Our previous-results section shows the standard claim deadline so it is easier to see which recent tickets are still worth checking.
