How EuroMillions Numbers Are Generated

Each line contains five different main numbers from 1–50 and two different Lucky Stars from 1–12. The two number pools are generated separately and sorted for easy reading.

Five main numbers

Five unique numbers are selected from 1 to 50 and displayed from lowest to highest.

Two separate Lucky Stars

Two different Lucky Stars are selected separately from the 1–12 Lucky Star pool.

Create 1, 5 or 10 lines

Create 1, 5 or 10 lines. Copy Numbers copies every line currently displayed in one go.

Generate again to create a fresh random 5 + 2 combination. Previous draws are not used to predict future EuroMillions numbers.

Do Random EuroMillions Numbers Improve Your Odds?

No. Random generation changes how the numbers are selected, not the probability attached to the resulting line.

Every valid combination is equal

A particular valid five-number and two-Star combination has the same mathematical chance as any other valid combination.

Hot numbers describe history

Historical frequency can show which numbers have appeared more or less often in past draws, but it cannot make a number more likely in the next independent draw.

Random selection

Each generated line follows the correct five-number and two-Lucky-Star format.

The EuroMillions jackpot odds are approximately 1 in 139,838,160 per valid line. See the EuroMillions odds guide for the full prize-tier mathematics.

EuroMillions questions

EuroMillions Number Generator FAQs

How does the EuroMillions number generator work?
It randomly creates five unique main numbers from 1 to 50 and two unique Lucky Stars from 1 to 12. Each group is sorted from lowest to highest.
Can I generate multiple EuroMillions lines?
Yes. Choose 1, 5 or 10 lines at the top of the page.
Can I copy all of my generated EuroMillions numbers?
Yes. Copy Numbers copies every generated line currently shown, including all five or ten lines when you generate a larger set.
Are the numbers unique within each line?
Yes. The five main numbers are different from each other and the two Lucky Stars are also different from each other.
Can the same numerical value appear as a main number and Lucky Star?
Yes. Main numbers and Lucky Stars come from separate number pools, so the same numerical value can appear in both groups.
Are random EuroMillions numbers more likely to win?
No. Every particular valid EuroMillions combination has the same mathematical probability regardless of how the numbers were selected.
Are hot EuroMillions numbers better than random numbers?
No. Historical frequency describes previous results but does not make a number more likely to appear in the next independent draw.
What are the EuroMillions jackpot odds?
The odds of matching all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars are approximately 1 in 139,838,160 per line.
What are the odds of winning any EuroMillions prize?
The overall odds of winning a EuroMillions prize are approximately 1 in 13.

When are EuroMillions draws held?
EuroMillions draws are held on Tuesday and Friday evenings, at approximately 8:45pm UK time.
Does the generator create a UK Millionaire Maker code?
No. UK Millionaire Maker uses a separate code associated with an eligible official EuroMillions entry. This generator only creates the five main numbers and two Lucky Stars.
My Lottery Life does not purchase, submit or store National Lottery entries.
